Baby Silas, Adorable Pilot | Hillsboro Newborn Photographer

Ashley and Brett welcomed baby Silas to the world, and WAY ahead of schedule! Luckily, I was able to adjust the timeline for their newborn photos, because this kid is completely adorable. And I’m not sure I’ve done photos for a baby with such a thick head of hair before!

I did Ashley and Brett’s maternity session in early December, on a surprisingly beautiful day, and Ashely had told me then that she expected her son to arrive early, but I couldn’t believe it when I got her email that Silas came about 3 weeks early! It was a surprise to me, but not to Ashley as she had been an early baby as well. She and Brett had things ready and were able to settle in with an early newborn pretty well! Brett is a pilot so they had THE most adorable knit aviator helmet for Silas. And of course the name print swaddle and cap are just too cute. He was such a sleepy and happy baby, it was hard to believe he was so new! He woke up once to eat, and then settled right back in, awake and alert, in mom and dad’s arms.

I’m so excited for this sweet little family and completely obsessed with this bundle of cuteness!
