Pregnancy and birth are such a special and unique time of life. To feel those tiny baby kicks inside of you. To see the way your own body holds the life of your child. And then to hold them in your arms and marvel at all the little details. Newborns grow so quickly, each day brings changes. Let us help you capture this unique and special time in your life to remember forever. We will work with you both during your pregnancy and after the birth to find an ideal time for photographing your pregnancy and your newborn baby.

Our maternity sessions take place at an outdoor location, usually in the evenings to get that beautiful golden light. 

We specialize in in-home, lifestyle newborn photography.  After baby is born, we'll schedule a time to meet you in the comfort of your own environment to capture the bond between you and your new baby, the tiny details of newborn days, and the love between you.  

After the session

Whether you've chosen just maternity or newborn, or a combination of both, you'll receive a link to a private online photo gallery two weeks after your session.  You'll be able to download full-resolution digital photos.  The gallery is also linked to a professional lab printing service so you can seamlessly order prints to display in your home. 

If you've chosen a combination package with us, we will be in touch near your pregnancy due date.  You will just let us know when you've delivered and feeling settled in at home with your new baby, and we'll coordinate a date and time for a lifestyle newborn session.  

We offer a combined maternity & newborn collection for $800, which includes a full maternity session to suit your personality and style, as well as a lifestyle newborn session to authentically capture those first few days with your little one.  

Alternatively, individual maternity or newborn sessions are $500.

Each session includes beautifully edited, high-resolution photos that are yours to keep.  Prints and canvases are also available for purchase.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are located in Portland, Oregon, but will shoot sessions anywhere in the Metro area from Vancouver, WA to Wilsonville, OR.  Occasionally we can also be found in Seattle, WA, in the Columbia Gorge or on the Oregon Coast. 

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK WITH YOU?

We generally only do sessions on weekends, and our weekends tend to fill up.  So book as far out as you can.  We do maternity sessions between 30 and 35 weeks gestational age, and we do newborn photos after baby is born, anywhere between 1 week to 3 months old!If you are only interested in maternity, you can book that directly here. What is your weather policy?

We tend to shoot sessions regardless of what the weather is doing!  If it's typical light rain, we find cover.  If it's truly miserable (pouring rain, snowing, hailing), we will open up our weekday afternoons and find a time to reschedule.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

We like to say we're a blend between photo-journalistic and lifestyle.  We love capturing those authentic, candid moments, and we include the whole family in the frame.  We only do in-home lifestyle newborn sessions that focus on your bond with your baby in the comfort of your own home.  
 

DO YOU PROVIDE DIGITAL FILES?

Yes!  We believe your photos are yours to share and print as you need throughout your lives.
 

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE SEE?

On average, you can expect about 40 edited, high-resolution images per session.
 

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?

We make it a priority to write a blog post of our absolute favorites within a week, and we sometimes even post a sneak peek image on social media the next day!  We will be able to deliver the entire portrait album within a month.
 

DO YOU HAVE A BUSINESS LICENCE?

Yes, we're a legit business.  No under the table tax evasion from us!  (Anna-Lisa is a financial analyst.  Even the thought of tax fraud gives her nightmares!)
