Amanda & Bikas' Rose Garden Maternity Session | Portland Maternity Photographer
I just love new clients. It's like making new friends. And I just love new parents! It makes me feel wise and experienced. Bikas found us through a search of best Portland Maternity Photographers, and surprised his wife, Amanda, with a maternity session for her birthday! I was in contact with only him (which at first, I thought strange because I generally communicate with the true heads of the household - the moms!) and we set up our session date and time, and he started including Amanda on our emails later in the process. I didn't meet either of them until the day of the shoot, and I instantly wanted to be best friends with them!
We actually ended up having to move our session date forward a few days because of the Portland rain factor! But we had a beautiful, clear, warm (and uncrowded!) evening session at the International Rose Test Garden, here in Portland. They are both so at ease and going to be such wonderful parents! And Bikas is such an incredible, supportive husband! I thought this was such a sweet, and thoughtful gift!
Here are just a few of my absolute favorites from the session. I also think they should look in to modeling because they're stinking gorgeous people! I'm very excited to greet their new little baby when she arrives and capture those precious newborn moments for them!
