Trash the Dress

Last weekend our families took a trip to the coast together and I took advantage of the weekend to do the funnest shoot ever. The stars aligned. I needed family photos. We needed wedding photos. And I had a wedding dress. So I convinced my family to dress up and we headed to the beach for an impromptu wedding shoot.  

And I now believe that everyone should do a photo shoot in their wedding dress. It was SO MUCH FUN. All of the fancy of a wedding without any of the stress or worry. And my girls were there. And I got to do things that felt like breaking the rules - like going in the ocean. 

In fact, the shoot was so much fun that night we put kristi in the dress and headed back out to get some more pics with her in the dress at sunset.  

I know believe that a wedding dress shoot is something everyone should do. Honestly.
