Rachel & Denny's Sandy River Wedding | Oregon Wedding Photographer
We had the honor of capturing Rachel & Denny's wedding day this past weekend. Their wedding was an incredible expression of who they are - and how much their friends and family mean to them. It was such a beautiful and emotional day and it was an honor to be a part of it.
The wedding was on the Sandy river - an idyllic location that felt magical. And the atmosphere was perfect. Choir friends sang an original arrangement of "Take Me to Your River" by Leon Bridges as Rachel walked down the aisle. Rachel's dad and older brother are BOTH pastors and led the ceremony together. Their two dogs wore bow ties and faithfully carried the rings. Rachel's niece performed 1: Corinthians 13:4-7 (also known as "Love is Patient") and Denny's cousin read a verse from Khalil Gibran's The Prophet, "On Love" (my personal favorite poet).
Rachel & Denny had taken so much time to thoughtfully put together decorations, including all of the succulents that Rachel did HERSELF! (Yes, that warranted the caps.) Family friends made a palate bar for the kegs. Rachel & Denny put together the entire playlist and a friend DJ'ed the ceremony and reception. The lighting, the music, the signs, the arrangements... all of it was gorgeous.
But Rachel and Denny were what really made the day unforgettable. The wedding was such a beautiful and heartfelt expression of their love for each other. The day was filled with moments where there was not a dry eye to be seen (even ours!). The deep passion and love they have for each other was crystal clear in everything part of the day. Hopefully these pictures give you a glimpse of the stunning beauty and unfiltered love from their wedding.
Rachel & Denny - thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day We wish you an eternity of happiness, love, and companionship.
