Paetin's Senior Photos | Portland Senior Portrait Photographer
You guys... Senior photos are the jam. Or the bomb. Or whatever it is we're saying these days. The seniors we've met this year are amazing humans. They are kind, and motivated, and compassionate, and Paetin is no exception! We had a gorgeous senior session at and around Tanner Springs Park in Portland's Pearl District last week. The weather gods smiled down on us, and gave us a break in the rain for the afternoon and gave us this very cool, very moody light and I loved every second of it.
Rebecca, Paetin's mom, got in touch with us a few weeks ago, referred over from another client of ours, to see if we could squeeze in one more session as his photos are due next week. Luckily, the stars aligned and we were able to squeeze in a Wednesday afternoon session. We were going to shoot rain or shine because he was on a bit of a deadline for submission and we were creeping right up on Thanksgiving. But the rain subsided for the day, and we were able to take our time and explore a bit, rather than dash to and fro between rain covers.
Paetin plays serious soccer and is hoping to be able to play in college next year. He hasn't started applying to schools yet, but he's touring and is excited about the possibilities. If he had all the time and money in the world, he'd like to travel and see the world. (A kid after my own heart!) Paetin is a total natural in front of the camera, and SUCH a nice guy! He ADORES his sisters and loves his family. I was able to get a few shots in with Paetin's mom and adoring sister - we joked a bit that he needed a good, recent family photo to print out poster size and hang next to his bed when he goes away to college next year!
