I think the thing I love most about maternity newborn shoots is getting to see the family again after so short a period of time. I consider clients to be friends, and getting to see friends again so soon is a treat.  

Plus, for this particular shoot, Brenda had sent me pics of the room she thought would be ideal for photos, and was she ever right. I spent the whole drive to their house daydreaming about beautiful lighting and photos full of grey tones and neutrals and all the aesthetics I love. 

Needles to say, I am very pleased with how these photos came out - and all of the lovely family interactions I was able to capture. And! Grandparents with baby is like the cherry on top for me - generational photos are THE BEST.
